West Stockwith: Trust encourages people to explore hidden waterway gems

Families are being encouraged to rediscover their local canal as part of a drive by national waterways charity the Canal & River Trust to get more people to explore the hidden gems on their doorstep.

As part of the initiative, the Trust is organising a weekend of fun activities at West Stockwith on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September to give local people the chance to find out more about the wide variety of things that they can see and do on and around their local canal or river.

The event is being organised in partnership between the Trust, Chesterfield Canal Trust, West Stockwith Yacht Club and the Waterfront Inn.
