Armed police swoop on Worksop house and arrest man after 'firearms' incident
A man has been arrested in connection with a firearms incident in Worksop.
Police received a report that a firearm had been fired in the Gateford Road area at around 1.40am yesterday (Monday, July 3).
Armed officers swooped on an address in Cheapside in the early hours of this morning and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
The man remains in police custody.
